Sometimes they run out of things too, like one time I saw the staff running out of trash bags and they didn’t have the solution to clean the tables. Little stuff like that, they need to stay on top of that. I haven’t had any bad experiences with the staff. They’re all caring and they all take care of her. I just don’t like the maintenance part and the building upkeep. They also need to work on their employee’s morale up because they have really good employees.
They would give you something they say was this, but it doesn’t look like it. During the aging process, seniors may turn to supportive services to help them remain at home for as long as possible or make living in long-term care facilities easier. Some of the below offerings help Greenville’s seniors with the former goal, while others assist with the latter.
Dynamic Music Therapy
Everything was pretty restricted because of COVID. She had a change in roommate and that didn’t go well. I had no problem with how things went, but I wasn’t staying there. Everybody was helpful in taking care, keeping her up with medicines, following doctor’s orders, and doing her rehab work. There were plenty of things there to do, but she just didn’t feel like doing it.

From the outside, it’s nice but it’s an older building and they need to work on their housing maintenance. Like closets that don’t close and little stuff that needs to be worked on. I think they allow that to go a little too long before it’s fixed. The housekeeping needs to keep her room clean and swept. It’s not that bad, they eventually caught up with it, but I think they’re shorthanded. Overall, I would say they’re still a pretty clean facility.
Franciscan Health
I know that if we have a serious problem, we always know who to go to. If we need help, they usually respond. My mother loved their food because she goes back for seconds. If they have, she will go and they will give her some more. One day she cleaned up her plate so I would say the food is really good. Although this facility may be cosmetically appealing to the eye, I can assure you the care my loved one received here was appalling.

Overall, it was clean and nice, and they have therapy, which is very good. They were very good to her and very helpful. However, she was not happy with the food; she hated it.
Advanced Wound Healing, A Division of Self Medical Group
My loved one stayed at Aspen Trace for rehabilitation following a hospital stay. My loved one also experienced a genital rash due to lack of bathing. My family was told bathing and physical rehab is regularly scheduled and often neither were completed. It was extremely difficult to request a chest x-ray, etc. when it was obvious our loved one was suffering from a chest infection or pneumonia.

There was an extremely long wait once the call button was pushed, likely due to lack of staffing. The food was horrific and was usually delivered whole , not following the mechanical soft , physician ordered preparation. When my family requested help from the front desk staff, nurses, or assistants, it was as though you are personally inconveniencing them and an annoyance. My family is tight-knit and believe in being each other’s advocate.
Bickford Assisted Living And Memory Care Of Greenwood
My favorite part would be the therapy team as they helped my loved one get back on their feet in no time. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to place their loved ones. Even though they were limited to the in person activities they still had a lot to offer so no one was bored. My brother has been in Otterbein SeniorLife Franklin for six months now. They have cottages on the outside of the place. You start there and you rent, and then when you progress and get where you can’t live alone, they take you in the big part of it.
Overall, the experience is very positive and we are very much pleased with my mother’s progress. When she was at another facility, she did not have this kind of progress. Here, she is making connections and getting involved so I like how they’re taking care of her. They have some issues but overall, it’s been very positive.
A member of our family visited every day, and it was the epitome of stressful. My family and I can’t caution highly enough to refrain from using this facility for yourself or a loved one. Many seniors and their families use some form of financial assistance to help them pay for nursing care. The main options available are Medicare, Medicaid, and veterans benefits. These programs can be complicated, especially when it comes to benefit terms. Below, we give a brief overview of how these programs may be used towards paying for skilled nursing care.

The food isn’t edible for any resident there it seems. I spend about $1K every two months bringing food in to my grandma. An acceptable dinner from them is tots and corn muffin.
My loved one has dementia and they are very well trained on how to handle it. The only complaint I have is the building its in very bad shape. Wish they would move to a new building. My friend stayed for a while at the Waters of Indianapolis.
Such features have attracted an estimated population of 59,458 residents, of whom 14.4% are seniors 65 years of age or up. Greenwood’s location in the Indianapolis metro area means its residents can choose from among many hospitals. Notable options include Community Hospital South and its neighboring facilities, which focus on cancer care and surgery. In Greenwood, the average senior pays $7,209 per month for nursing home accommodations, which compares favorably to the corresponding national figure of $7,756.

They finally installed the camera back. It was on the ground there for at least three weeks. Insurance covered it, but I think it was too high after the insurance ran out. It wasn’t worth staying there and paying that kind of money. Greenwood Meadows is located in Greenwood, Indiana, a city that borders Indianapolis. Private and semi-private housing options are available at Greenwood.
Nursing homes are designed for residents who require advanced care but don’t require hospitalization. Among other offerings, physical, speech and occupational therapy services help residents rebuild and maintain their capabilities, while nursing care is readily available. Because of the high levels of attention nursing homes give their residents, these facilities tend to charge more than other senior care providers. Older adults who can function with less help may be more interested in assisted living or home health care, which usually carry lower prices. My mom is doing rehab at Forest Creek Village in Indianapolis.
